Maison Dentsu honors photographer Luo Yang
Following its “Marbré(e) Exhibition” presented in September and with Paris Photo in full swing, Maison Dentsu unveiled an exhibition dedicated to the Chinese photographer Luo Yang. Curator Thomas Erber honors the artist listed among the 100 most influential women in 2018 by the BBC in this exhibition presented in partnership with the Moonduckling agency. Maison Denstu is a space for co-creation, exhibition and think-thanks, the ideal location for Thomas Erber to highlight Luo Yang’s work on femininity in Chinese society where tradition dominates, work that has made her one of the leading figures of Chinese counterculture today. “GIRLS” (the first exhibition from the photographer in France) presents the feminist vision of the artist through a series of photographs over a period of ten years and echoes the commitment of Maison Dentsu against discrimination against women through art and culture. Maison Dentsu is a co-signatory of the #JamaisSansElles charter. The exhibition is open to the public, by appointment only, November 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th.
