MIXTE magazine celebrates 25 years of independence

‘Liberté, Égalité, Mixité’ has been MIXTE’s credo for the past 25 years! Founded in 1996 by Tiziana Humler, Christian Ravera and Guy Guglieri, the biannual magazine just celebrated a quarter century of commitment to fashion and creativity with a big party at Club NO.PI in the trendy ‘North Pigalle’. An independent publication from the start, MIXTE has also had a pioneering impact on fashion. In the 1990s already, the publication deconstructed gender norms and shed light on the artists of tomorrow, whatever their field of expression. Through nine exceptional covers, MIXTE’s anniversary issue is the reflection of this longstanding commitment. Nine couples embody modern love, a tribute to the magazine’s very first cover, which featured Stella Tennant, the quintessential tomboy, photographed by David Sims as part of a couple already playing with gender norms. At NO.PI, MIXTE invited their long-time followers to come together for a big party with support of Gucci. Artists, photographers, models and fashion professionals all gathered on the dance floor to the sound of performances by Bergmann, Mysterious SK1N, Thee Dian – with guests Crystal Murray and Le Diouck.
