With “Togeth’HER”, 26 artists put inspiring women on the cover of Madame Figaro

From June 4 to July 4, the Monnaie de Paris hosts a new edition of “Togeth’HER, Artistes à la Une”, the initiative created by David-Hervé Boutin. After two successful editions, the 2021 exhibition gathers 26 artists around one of France’s most iconic titles: Madame Figaro. Upon invitation of Editor-In-Chief Anne-Florence Schmitt, each participating artist (among which Adel Abdessemed, Inès Longevial, Jean-Michel Othoniel, Eva Jospin, Prune Nourry, or Thu-Van Tran), imagined their very own Madame Figaro cover as a tribute to an inspiring woman. As a result, Kamala Harris, Vivienne Westwood, Salma Hayek, Golshifteh Farahani, Adwoa Aboah, or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez all grace these original works donated by the artists to profit various charities. This new edition of the projects opens as Madame Figaro celebrates its 40th anniversary. Since its launch, the magazine has always put women forward, as well as supported numerous artists and artistic creation. The exhibition was inaugurated this week at the Monnaie de Paris. For the occasion, artists and friends had come to experience it first-hand. The 25 artworks will later be sold at Auction by Artcurial from June 30 to July 6. All profit with benefit the various charities chosen by the artists.
