Madame Figaro Unveils the Festins Féminins Award at the Datil Restaurant

Madame Figaro is launching the Festins Féminins Award, based on a selection of the most beautiful cookbooks published in 2024, according to three criteria: the author must be a woman and must have personally written the recipes, she must be behind the innovative concept of her book, and it must be well illustrated (photos, drawings) to highlight the creativity of the recipes, as well as the aesthetics of the layout. With the support of BOLD by Veuve Clicquot, the event took place at chef Manon Fleury’s restaurant called Datil. There, the gastronome author Anne Etorre was rewarded for her book “Olympe, cuisinière libre”, a tribute to bistronomy pioneer Olympe Versini. A cooking star in the 90s, Versini was the youngest chef of her time to earn a star, and she made her mark in what was then a very male-dominated industry.

At the award ceremony, we met Vanessa Zocchetti, Trish Deseine, Manu Payet, Aurélie Saada and many others.
