Lucien’s vacation ends beautifully at Colette’s.
We all saw on Instagram this image of the army of deckchairs exposed on the first floor of colette all August. And for good reason, “Les vacances de Lucien”, a real take over by Lucien Pagès, the press attaché who is no longer presented, was a real success all summer long. To make some regret leaving the capital for sunnier destinations. But don’t panic, there was plenty for everyone, and the final catch-up session yesterday at the closing cocktail proved to be the highlight of this month’s party in partnership with Woolmark. With no less than 32 designers represented (Jacquemus, Lemaire, Loewe, Maison Rabih Kayrouz, Vanessa Seward, Vincent Darré, and many more) the “Lulu” holiday home was packed with this beautiful fashion world, like a “squad” – completed by the participation of Peter Philips, Michel Gaubert and Camille Bidault Waddington – of which we dream of being part. With an ice cream cone in hand, the evening was spent sneaking between the happy and tanned mines of Vincent Darré, Audrey Marnay, Alexandre de Betak and even Béatrice Dalle, to soak up one last time the exclusive creations of the designers represented by the press attaché, and sometimes even putting him in the spotlight, such as the plates signed Astier de Villatte or the T-Shirt emblem of Vanessa Seward “Talk to my PR”. A few months before the closure of colette, “Les vacances de Lucien” embodies all the genius and all the modernity of the concept store that we will never end to regret.
