Stéphane Rolland’s Oriental Odyssey
This Tuesday, guests attending Stéphane Rolland’s Fashion Show were treated to an ephemeral journey into the warm and sun-kissed desert. Yet here we were, right in the heart of Paris, at the Salle Pleyel, where the French couturier unveiled his Spring-Summer 2024 Haute Couture collection. Introduced by the collections of 20 design students from the Institut Français de la Mode and Esmod, Stéphane Rolland’s silhouettes flowed smoothly down the catwalk. Light, creamy shades nuanced the designer’s signature palette of browns, which then evolved into darker shades of blue. This chromatic transition was also echoed by the set design, which emphasised the majesty of the pieces in the collection. As for the music, singer Ibrahim Maalouf took to the stage for a spellbinding live performance. We met Kat Graham, Nieves Alvarez, Noah Cyrus, Chloé Lecareux, Bella Thorne…
