The ETAM Live Show at the Monnaie de Paris Highlights Femininity
If there’s one show epitomising glamour this Paris Fashion Week, it’s this one. Like every year, ETAM invited the most refined to celebrate French know-how with a charming live show at the Monnaie de Paris.
Sculptural, meticulously finished and exquisitely ornamented, each piece of the collection is made by the talented hands of the brand’s craftsmen. From the design teams’ sketches to the prototypes, hundreds of hours are involved in the process of creating these masterpieces. Attention to detail is key: delicate embroidery, lace, architectural constructions, millimetre-perfect cuts – the expertise of the corset-makers leaves nothing to chance. The show’s star piece, the bodysuit, is available in a limited edition of 100 numbered pieces. As for the dye sublimation process, it reinvents lace dyeing by considerably reducing the use of water compared to traditional methods. Less water, less energy, less wasted material: an innovation that is part of the WeCare programme, reflecting the brand’s firm and ongoing commitment to sustainable and responsible fashion.
During this breathtaking show, which opened with a piano performance by Alice Taglioni, backed up by an exceptional line-up featuring Charlotte Cardin, Eva, Ayra Starr, Dina Ayada and Mabel, we spotted Camille Razat, Cole Sprouse, Xavier Dolan, Léna Mahfouf, Fleur Copin, Constance Jablonski, Kelly Rutherford and many others!
