After two albums – gold and platinum, though – and the worldwide success of Robin Schluz’s remix”Prayer In C”, Lilly Wood And The Prick has just unveiled her third album called”Shadows”.
Recorded between Mali and France, produced by the English artistic director Dave Okumu (The Invisible, Jessie Ware),”Shadows” subtly integrates African-inspired percussion mixed with the electro-pop melodies dear to the duo. Duo that offers us, with this new feat of arms, the proof that a world hit can have a sequel removed and cerebral.
Last Thursday evening, Nili and Benjamin hastened to celebrate the good news at Boon Studio, supported by a whole bunch of festive fantasies that the duo loves: table tennis, karaoke, Pierre & Gilles photocall, Heineken bar…. in short, the evening calibrated Lilly Wood, and their entire squad because the more crazy we are the more we laugh.
