Les Mercredis de Léonard Lasry: Jay-Jay Johanson rocks the stage at Castel for his 25th anniversary
Les Mercredis de Leonard Lasry at Castel are back. After two years of pandemic, these cultural and festive appointments, orchestrated by the famous French producer and composer, are back to make the Rive Gauche dance. For the first session of the season, Léonard invited his friend Jay-Jay Johanson who came from Stockholm to celebrate his 25 years of career in Paris. Punctuated by a touching speech from Léonard Lasry, who works with Jay-Jay Johanson under his 29 MUSIC label, the evening began with a showcase of the Swedish crooner who performed some of his most famous hits, including “So Tell the Girls That I Am Back in Town”, “On the Radio”, “Heard Somebody Whistle” and ‘Believe in Us”. Jay-Jay’s friends Renata Litvinova, Yara Lapidus, Amina, Christophe Brunnquell or Elodie Fregé, all sang along. The concert was followed by a DJ set of G.Wen (Gwenael Billaud), a mix of disco tracks and ballads by Jay-Jay Johanson, Léonard Lasry and other artists of the 29 MUSIC label.
