Les Éloges Highlights the Industry of the Performing Arts

For the second time, the grand foyer of the Théâtre du Châtelet hosted the award ceremony of Les Éloges, which focused on fairground artists.

Constance Arnoult, co-founder of the eponymous media company behind the event, acted as mistress of ceremonies alongside her associates Anaëlle Malka, Dobra Szwinkel and Emma Lavenka.

The jury awarded both the artists who appear on stage as well as the artisan creators who work behind the scenes on the costumes and sets: Bruno de Lavenère received an Eloge for his work as a set designer on Thomas Jolly’s opera “Macbeth Underworld”, in collaboration with Ateliers Thomas Marias. Renowned actress and director Emmanuelle Bercot presented the Eloge for the Dancer to Axel Ibot, a member of the Paris Opera Ballet. Benjamin Voisin received the Eloge for the Actor from dancer and choreographer Josépha Madoki.

All night long, guests enjoyed a series of live performances by Grégoire Ichou – AKA Elysée Moon -, as well as a Repetto tutu fashion show and performances by the Leroux circus. Among the guests in attendance were personalities from various cultural industries, such as choreographer Marion Motin, actress Micha Lescot or Olivier Py, Director of the Théâtre du Châtelet.

Prior to the evening, the jury deliberated over a magnificent dinner hosted by Guerlain, a moment appreciated by these live performance professionals who rarely have the time to interact with their peers.
