Les Bains Celebrates its 140th Anniversary and a Decade Since its Renovation
Since 1885, Les Bains has embodied the irreverent and avant-garde spirit of Paris, constantly evolving to stay in tune with our times. This iconic venue is celebrating a double anniversary in 2025: 140 years of glorious history and 10 years of contemporary hospitality that have successfully reinvented its identity. In its early days, Les Bains was a haven of peace and well-being, the favourite hangout spot of illustrious figures from the worlds of art and literature such as Manet, Zola and Proust. In the 1980s, Les Bains underwent a radical transformation to become a legendary club, the epicentre of Parisian nightlife and a sanctuary for iconic personalities such as Warhol, Basquiat, Bowie and Gainsbourg.
In 2015, led by Jean-Pierre Marois, the venue was converted into an exceptional 5-star hotel, subtly redesigned thanks to Vincent Bastie, Tristan Auer and Denis Montel. Les Bains is something akin to a vibrant club, a luxury hotel and an art gallery all together. To mark this historic event, a unique and memorable night took place on the 11th of October. After virtuoso pianist Chilly Gonzales kicked off the evening with an intimate live piano and vocal performance at Roxo, the duo Kids Return took over the Club for an exclusive DJ set. We spotted Jean-Pierre Marois, Ruby On The Nail, Sheitan, Catherine Baba and many others.
