Leblon Delienne and N.A.S.T.Y. Pay Tribute to Hello Kitty at Publicis Drugstore on the Champs-Elysées
Leblon Delienne has been reinterpreting the codes of Pop Culture for almost 40 years, bringing our heroes and their fantastical worlds back to life. Through figurines, sculptures, furniture, artworks and design objects, the designer makes us relive the adventures of Snoopy, Smurf, Pikachu, and the like. This month, the legendary Hello Kitty, a character created almost 50 years ago, is being revamped thanks to Leblon Delienne and N.A.S.T.Y. collaborative reinterpretation.
A key figure in the Parisian graffiti scene, the French street artist started making himself a name in 1988 thanks to his colourful graffiti, which took over the metro and streets of the French capital. After joining the AEC (Artiste en Cavale) collective in 1990, he presented his very first exhibition in 1992 in Paris, which marked the beginning of the real development of his practice. During the inauguration, held at the Publicis Drugstore on the Champs-Elysées, we caught up with the artist himself, whose real name is Alexandre Hiltebrand, alongside Juliette de Blegiers, owner of Leblon Delienne, and numerous guests.
