The Woolmark Prize Goes to Lagos Space Programme, A. Roege Hove and Byborre

The International Woolmark Prize highlights the beauty and versatility of Australian merino wool by awarding the most promising designers around the world. This prestigious prize has been bestowed upon many legends of the fashion industry over the years. The finalists of this edition are A. Roege Hove, Bluemarble, Lagos Space programme, Marco Rambaldi, Maxxij, Paolina Russo, Rhude and Robyn Lynch. Following Saul Nash’s conquest of the Prize in 2022, founder of the Nigerian label Lagos Space Programme Adeju Thomson received this year’s trophy. Other winners of the evening were Amalie Røge Hove, awarded the Karl Lagerfeld Award for Innovation, and Borre Akkersdijk, winner of the Supply Chain Award for his Amsterdam-based textile innovation studio BYBORRE. The award ceremony paid homage to the fashion world and its ever-evolving nature.
