“Le Récital”: Alice Vaillant’s Dance with Fashion
As if in the midst of a ballet rehearsal, Alice Vaillant enchants us with ‘Le Récital’, her Spring/Summer 2026 collection, presented in the middle of the Opéra Bastille. The show was deeply rooted in nostalgia: firstly through the memories of the fashion designer, a former ballerina, but also through the surrealist and Old Hollywood inspirations of the wardrobe. During a ballet performance accompanied by a pianist, the silhouettes walked the runway, covered in organza, silk and tulle, in pieces reminiscent of traditional dance rehearsal wear. Revisited leotards, deconstructed tutu dresses, blazers with sharp angles: Alice Vaillant’s creations embrace the body like bespoke ballet costumes.
During this ethereal and poetic moment, we met Germain Louvet, Pia Mance and Carla Ginola.
