KidSuper’s Wandering World Enchanted Louis Vuitton
The music is on, and our faces light up. Rising pop star Rosalía is here, treating us to her unique musical style, a cross between flamenco and rap. One could hardly imagine a better start to the show, yet KidSuper’s child-like set design further enhanced an already exceptional experience. Vuitton’s show was perhaps even closer to a live performance than it was of a fashion show. Imagined and designed by Lina Kutsovskaya, the set design was made up of meticulously arranged pieces, and full of details reminiscent of the different stages of life.
Wardrobe-speaking all the right ingredients were gathered: an abundance of noble materials, impeccable leathers on the marquetry- to echo the house’s craftsmanship- and the holy return of Taylorism. Belted with large fabrics, the burgundy double-breasted suits bring nobility to the silhouettes, all the more so as they are topped with grey leather caps. With a geniune and fresh -but never childish- collection, KidSuper not only put the minds of anxious Louis Vuitton lovers at ease, but fully enchanted them. We ran into Usher, Kit Harrington and François Civil.
