Le Louisiana Hosts the Launch of Julie Duchatel’s Novel on Nathalie Sorokine
Julie Duchatel rekindles the flames of passion between Nathalie Sorokine and Simone de Beauvoir with her new novel, unveiled on January 10 at the Hotel Le Louisiane. Located at 60 rue de Seine in Saint-Germain-Des-Prés, the hotel is famous for having been the home of illustrious artists and writers, and thus for having witnessed their intimate affairs. Finding a better place to host the event would indeed have been difficult, and even more so as it culminated in a reading of excerpts by Calypso Valois… in room 10, that of Nathalie Sorokine. The perfect occasion to get hold of the very first copies of the book, and enjoy Lou Lesage’s DJ set in the hotel’s main room.
