Le Fier Gala Gets a Full House at the Hôtel de Ville
Le Fier Gala is a non-profit organisation that raises funds for associations fighting LGBTQIA+ discrimination through a unique music and fashion event. This special moment brings together the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies, and highlights the associations that will be receiving funding: this year, there were Le Refuge, l’Autre Cercle and Les Audacieu.se.s. As Pride Month draws to a close, these moments are crucial: they remind us how important it is to stand united and in solidarity with one another. At a time when such rights are increasingly being threatened, Paris will always remain a city of pride.
Hosted by founder of the Fier Gala Maximilien Marçais-Husson, the evening featured performances by queer artists from the worlds of stand-up, comedy, drag and music. During a DJ set by CH4I, we met Woodkid, Thomas Jolly, Raya Martigny, Brune and Florent Buonomano, Debbie Sparrow, Kevhoney Scarlett and many others.
