Petite Friture’s Workshop Dinner
Montreuil-based design editor Petite Friture once again opened the doors of its showroom to introduce new interior pieces. A surrealist scenography entitled UPSIDE DOWN blurred the boundaries between reality and fiction while rocky totems designed by contemporary artist Audrey Guimard contrasted with the curves of neotenic table lamps by New York design studio Jumbo.. A journey of initiation where objects could be looked at upside down and mirrors reflected strange distortions.
The menu was a culinary experience designed by Chef Zelikha Dinga. As for the cocktails, they were masterly created by Margot Le Carpentier, who is known to be the mastermind behind Combat in Belleville. A live show by a wild Jérome Violent was followed by an initiation to the knotting of ropes with Samy Rio, designer of the nomadic lamp Quasar.
