René Caovilla’s Apicius dinner
Once upon a time René Caovilla. Born in the Venetian region of Italy – home of luxury footwear know-how – the now legendary shoe sculptor has conquered the capital. His creations – worn by Jessica Chastain, Zendaya, Rihanna and even exhibited at MoMa in New York – were on the feet of Parisian women last Thursday night. Joanne Palmaro, Caroline Hu, Lorena Vergani, Su Park, but also stylists Virginie Dhello and Hugo Toucas were invited to dine in a fairytale setting, at Apicius, a stone’s throw from the Champs Elysées. There, in the heart of the private mansion’s garden, the Caovilla house celebrated the beginning of summer break…
