The Istituto Marangoni Paris 2023 Fashion Show at the Espace Niemeyer Offers a Glimpse into the Future of Fashion
Recently, the school highlighted 10 exceptional graduates of its Fashion Design Bachelor. In front of an audience of fashion and media professionals, Juana Casares, Zihui Zhang, Aachal Rai, Avalon Anttila Smederevac, Kateryna Chyzh, Pedro del Campo Criollo, Guillermo Hidalgo de la Dehesa, Tia Najjar, Young Eun Jeon, and Luciano Piunti unveiled their creative visions in a joint fashion show at the Espace Niemeyer. Throughout the past year, students have been working hard to create collections that reflect their personalities and the theme of this year’s show: “LOOK: IT’S THE FUTURE”. Inspired by a combination of retro and futurist tropes, the recent graduates demonstrated their talent and imagination.
The collections displayed both technological and olfactory dimensions, respectively through 3D-modelled silhouettes and Symrise perfumes, scents that heightened the pieces. Among the guests attending the event, we ran into Paolo Meroni, Director of the Instituto, Bruno Gouery, Jin Xuan Mao, Clémence Botino, Ophély Mezino, Urvashi Rautela, Eugenia Kuzmina, Jade Chantelle, Nesrin Sanad, H.E. the Italian Ambassador, the Italian Consul and the Peruvian Ambassador.
