(Almost) as sunny as a BBQ by a swimming pool, (almost) as jovial as a game of petanque in the creeks of Cassis, the Coq Sportif’s aperitifs remain for outdoor happenings aficionados a fine appointment not to be missed under any pretext – good or bad. The French sports brand is planting a 360-degree decor without a ceiling to welcome friends, journalists and trendsetters from the capital. Montmartre in the North, St Eustache in the South, Beaubourg in the East, the Eiffel Tower in the West.
On the rooftop of its Parisian headquarters, Le Coq displays a veritable debauchery of summer attributes, from merguez/saucisses to rosé chilled in iceboxes, passing by folding canvas deckchairs and, of course, the’special sun’ musical selection of passing selectors, an inseparable element of a totally successful idleness. This week, Nicolas Dario Jouanneau was in charge of setting this little Aoutian reminiscence to music. A nice little guy in his beard and sneakers who didn’t hesitate to send the guests into a big space-time rift heading for the 90’s.
All in the heart of the Montorgueil district, just to wait for the weekend, but not too far away. Who says better?
