Fundraising Cocktail Around Sam Szafran’s Pieces at L’Orangerie
On October 20 and on the occasion of the “Sam Szafran” exhibition at the Musée de l’Orangerie, the Société des Amis des musées d’Orsay et de l’Orangerie held the second edition of its fundraising cocktail. The event brought together 150 art lovers within the iconic Musée de l’Orangerie in order to collect the funds necessary to acquire a new artwork meant to enter the museum’s collection. The evening, dedicated to supporting the arts, was also the opportunity for the selected guests to rediscover the permanent collection of the museum, and to discover « Obsessions of a Painter » by Sam Szafran.
An awaited event in the context of the launch of Paris + Art Basel which last week brought to Paris some of the most important figures of the art scene.
We met SAMO’s delegates Claire Bernardi, Christophe Leribault and Jean-Louis Milin but also personalities such as Alexis de Bernède and Marius Jacob-Gismondi – Founders of Damoart.
