Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche Revives its Signature Womenswear Brand with a Capsule Collection by Alexandra Van Houtte

Le Bon Marché, Paris

As the new year begins, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche’s signature womenswear brand unveils its new identity: Maison Rive Gauche. The brand will make its debut at Le Bon Marché in late January with a spring-summer collection. The idea is to promote a style that speaks to all women (from size 34 to 50), with an elegant, timeless wardrobe made of luxurious materials (wool, cashmere, iridescent silk…).

The launch of Maison Rive Gauche comes with other new features, such as the introduction of an embroidery service for garments in a dedicated space and made-to-measure clothing. Regular collaborations will also be designed with personalities or brands with strong DNA from all sectors. This means that four capsule collections will be added to the Maison Rive Gauche offering each year.

The department store kicked off this first creative dialogue by teaming up with Alexandra Van Houtte, a successful entrepreneur and the founder of Tagwalk. The result of this collaboration is a very Parisian chic collection of lightweight, easy-to-wear, fashionable apparel that speaks to all women.

Mid-April will see English floral fabrics house Liberty write a new chapter with Maison Rive Gauche.

During the presentation evening, we met Jeanne Damas, Piu Piu, Dan Thawley, Aline Asmar d’Amman, Alexandra Golovanoff…
