Le Bon Marché celebrates its 170th birthday
The Lady’s Delight … Last Thursday, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche celebrated its 170-year anniversary. On that very special occasion, the “temple of modern consumption” as author Emile Zola described it in his famous novel, had a whole party planned : live concert by Mika, customized pop-corn, orange dresscode, champagne and an exclusive guest list. The night ended with a DJ set by Ariel Wieman.
Visitors could also get lost in a giant maze constructed on the last floor of the legendary building. After CEO Patrice Wagner’s speech, Mika concert had an impressive number of guests dancing, including stylist Chantal Thomass, Virginie Ledoyen, Josiane Balasko, Nathalie Baye, Dolores Doll, Fatti Laleh, comedian Tristan Lopin, Jean-Charles Zambo.
