Launch of the new ‘Made by you’ Converse campaign

For this spring 2015 campaign, Converse travelled the globe in search of fetish and ultra-personal Chuck Taylor All Star pairs, each with a story to tell: that of their passage from blank canvas to their owner’s portrait.

The brand has in fact collected a series of All Stars from personalities with multiple creative horizons but international resonance including Patti Smith, Andy Warhol (yes), Futura, Jefferson Hack, Sayo Yoshida and Glenn O’Brien. At the local level, it was musicians, artists, skaters or conductors who lent themselves to the game. Among them: Anne-Fleur Broudehoux, Caroline de Maigret, SupaKitch, Inaki Aizpitarte, Jennifer Eymère, Yarol Poupaud, Alexandre Jonette, Clémence Quélennec, David Baudart and Alma Jodorowski bequeathed their pair of Chuck fétiche – a tough concession – for the project Made by you.

So many French ambassadors gathered on Monday in the brand’s new premises (Converse Faubourg) to hang the housewarming rack and unveil in preview the full cast of the circle of talented partners. With the lives of Hanni El Khatib and Burning Peacocks as well as the DJ set of Racket’s Housse, to take nothing away from this vibrant fashion week eve.
