While waiting for Fashion Week in March, Comptoir des Cotonniers makes us wait by unveiling a Franco-American collaboration with J Brand. And for the occasion, the house offers itself an ephemeral Californian gallery with surprising content.
Dresses, shirts, jackets and of course jeans are on the menu of this pretty capsule collection, which mixes the denim expertise of J Brand, the Californian premium label and Comptoir des Cotonniers, which we no longer present. To support the launch, the brand set up its L.A gallery in the heart of the Montorgueil district and invited the young guard of trendy photography to seize the picture rails.
In the middle of the portants, you will discover prints of Alice Moitié and George Byrne, and will be able to devote you to a photo session in the studio of Julot Bandit. In parallel, a reading corner awaits you in partnership with the LO/A bookshop and, for hedonistic pleasures, Green Barbes will show you how to create your beauty treatments in its dedicated corner.
If this is still not enough for you, a series of happening will punctuate the life of the gallery throughout the duration of the operation, launched last night with great pomp with Agathe Rousselle and Soko – unloaded straight from the City of Angels to turn the turntables. Details of the programming available on the dedicated site.
