Extrasystoles: Lara Micheli presents her first personal exhibition
Parisian photographer Lara Micheli presents her very first exhibition Extrasystoles at Salon H, the iconic gallery in Saint-Germain-des-Près. Why Extrasystoles? “This complicated word refers to a rather banal thing: a kind of blow in the chest caused by a double heartbeat, after a pause that is too long. You don’t die from it, but the sensation is surprising”, smiles the artist, who takes Polaroid pictures of her family and who perfectly masters the constraints and possibilities offered by her SX-70 camera. Thursday evening she invited her inner circle to the opening of the exhibition, where one could cross, among others, Charlotte Rampling, Mathias Kiss, Sophie Cale, or Frédéric Beigbeder.
