Librairie 7L Launches a Reissue of “La Chambre des écureuils”
Founded by Karl Lagerfeld in 1999, Librairie 7L found its home in the very heart of the 7th arrondissement, on 7 rue de Lille to be precise. More than a bookstore, Librairie 7L is also a publishing house and cultural venue, whose versatile character embodies the late fashion designer’s passion for books and photography. To celebrate the centenary of the Villa Noailles, Librairie 7L is presenting a new edition of “La Chambre des écureuils”, a novel by the famous patron of the arts Marie Laure de Noailles. This brand new publication, co-edited by Éditions Seghers and L7, features a foreword by Dominique Bona, member of the Académie française. Following a first presentation and signing at the Villa Noailles, which took place during the 38th Hyères International Fashion, Photography and Accessories Festival, Librairie 7L organised a launch party at its Parisian premises on Wednesday 18 October. We had the pleasure of meeting Jean-Pierre Blanc, Pascale Mussard, Alexandre Benjamin Navet, Laurence Delamare and Sophie Fontanel.
