L’Alliance New York Hosts its 31st Annual Benefit Gala
Gathering 550 guests and raising over 2.2 million dollars, The Plaza Hotel in New York was bursting with special energy as L’Alliance New York hosted its 31st annual benefit Gala on Monday night. Headed by President Tatyana Franck, L’Alliance New York is a private non-profit organization devoted to preserving and showcasing francophone cultures and teaching the French language in the United States. Through its annual gala, L’Alliance New York honors some incredible individuals for their outstanding contributions to Franco-American relations. This year, actress and former dancer Sofia Boutella was awarded the Trophée des Arts 2024, while Christine and Stephen Schwarzman were honoured with the Pilier d’Or for their transformative patronage of French culture. As part of a new tradition, launched last year, to highlight French cuisine, Three-Michelin Starred Chefs Dominique Crenn and Georges Blanc created a bespoke four-hand dinner. The after-party was at Silencio New York, where Martin Solveig’s DJ set got guests dancing late into the night.
