MSGM Takes an (Off-Road) Walk on the Sunrise
We can trace the story back to a trip by Massimo Giorgetti, creative director of MSGM. This personal off-road getaway became a voyage of growth and rebirth for the brand, which sees now the light of a new day. Just like sunrise heralds the end of the night and the promise of a fresh start, this collection sets a bright horizon for MSGM. On the catwalk, this revitalized spirit takes the shape of oversized jacquard suits whose prints recall animal patterns like those from zebras or cows. But if we take a closer look, we discover that those are more than mere references but indexical signs, as they are imprints of photographs taken by Massimo in Africa. Thus, t-shirts, trousers and tank tops become a tangible, and fashionable, account of this journey. Among the guests attending the show, we crossed paths with Mai Chieh Sun, Gioele Ossola, Karolis Inokaitis, Giuseppe Gioffré and Boggi Ken.
