If there is one smile that can be described as legendary, it is that of Julia Roberts. For years, the actress has been the face of Lancôme and its flagship perfume La Vie est Belle. Today, Lancôme is reinventing its icon with L’Éclat, an eau de parfum with orange blossom celebrated this week in a Palais de Tokyo transformed for the occasion into a case of light. The house invited its followers to “share the light” (#ShareTheLight) during an evening when you could enter a room covered with mirrors – some even said that you thought you were inside the bottle with 221 facets. Lancôme had already given the experience to a handful of beauty bloggers, a bit like a foretaste of the Parisian evening. Projected on the wall, an interview of Julia Roberts teaches us her love for the song “Shine Bright Like A Diamond” while girls and boys are invited to be made up by the make up artists on the spot. In the middle of the ice sculptures and under the powder pink lights, the evening continued with music with a DJ set by Karl Plank and a live performance by the band L’Impératrice, led by the voice of Flore Benguigui.
