La Terrazza by Atlas Concorde: Auteur Conversations During the Festival

Hotel Excelsior, Venice

At the Hotel Excelsior on the Lido, during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, cinema meets emotional marketing. For the third consecutive year, Joydis brings to life La Terrazza by Atlas Concorde, a format that goes beyond being an exclusive location to become a narrative stage, a place of exchange and perspective between worlds that are only seemingly distant: the film industry, business, and the culture of Made in Italy. A packed schedule of events blends lifestyle, cuisine, and dialogue. But if La Terrazza has earned a recognizable place in the Venetian ritual it is above all thanks to the interviews that, year after year, draw its soul.

This year, for instance, three special guests took their seats on the director’s chairs of the venue, making the format even more magnetic. Stefano Accorsi, an actor whose work bridges generations and styles; Ferzan Özpetek, a filmmaker who turns memory and intimacy into a universal narrative language; and Jesse Williams, the American actor who brought the energy and visibility of global cinema to the Lido. Three highly attended conversations, hosted by Daniela Collu, that transformed La Terrazza into a living laboratory, where words became a shared thread with the audience and brand partners found a setting able to amplify both identity and values.

Not a simple talk, but a space for encounters that linger, that create closeness: the secret of La Terrazza is that every interview becomes a story. And in this collective narration, Venice is not just the backdrop—it is a vital part of the scene.
