The Marcel Duchamp Prize at the Centre Pompidou

Created in 2000, the Marcel Duchamp Prize’s aim is to highlight the burgeoning French art scene. Its ambition is to reward and promote this generation’s most significant artists on the international scene.  Nominated for this 22nd edition were Giulia Andreani, working with historical narratives; Iván Argote, rethinking public space through radicalism; Mimosa Échard, who proposes a singular alliance between the living and the non-living; and Philippe Decrauzat, whose work establishes a critical relationship with the history of modernism.
