Bulgari unveils its Serpenti collection at London’s Saatchi Gallery
Serpenti is probably one of the greatest signatures in jewellery history. Designed by Bulgari in the 1930s, the jewel became iconic when actress Liz Taylor, who masterfully portrayed Cleopatra in 1962, decided to wear it for the world to see. Since then, the jewel, intended to be wrapped up around the arm up to 7 times has taken a thousand and one forms: rings, necklaces, earrings and even watches. As creative director Lucia Silvesti said, this precious reptile offers great versatility in itself. And that quality was celebrated at a grand event at London’s Saatchi Gallery, with an equally grand guest list in attendance.
Executive Vice President Lelio Gavazza and Director of Marketing and Communications Laura Burdese invited actresses, models, athletes and powerful influencers to attend the event at the New Bond Street flagship store. We ran into Adele Exarchopoulos, Andrey Rublev, Emily Carey and Suki Waterhouse.
