Kraemer Gallery Unveils a Stunning Exhibition in Paris
Kraemer is undoubtedly one of the capital’s oldest and most important galleries. Founded in 1875, it is now celebrating 150 years of excellence and passion with an outstanding exhibition: “150 Years of Kraemer Gallery.”
This retrospective retraces the history of a dynasty of visionary merchants and their major role in the evolution of decorative arts, from the 18th century to contemporary creation. It subtly illustrates how 18th-century masterpieces naturally find their place in today’s interiors, often in dialogue with contemporary works.
The exhibition, intended as a journey through time and family history, unfolds in the salons of the gallery’s hôtel particulier: each room pays tribute to an iconic member of the family, reflecting the spirit of innovation and tradition that has driven Kraemer for a century and a half.
At the inauguration ceremony attended by the Kraemer family, we met Laurent Dassault, Jacques and Fabienne Aschenbroich, Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, and many others.
