KEEN Teams Up with Études Studio to Reimagine the Iconic Newport Sandal
The new Newport by KEEN combines aesthetics and performance, redefining the concept of outdoor shoes. Featuring Études Studio’s signature “É” monogram, the model is available in olive green and black, colourways that embody the hybrid nature of a shoe that is meant to be suitable both for the city and outdoors.
To round off the project, KEEN and Études Studio have summoned video artist Grégoire Dyer, who has created a series capturing the choreographic language of the body. Projected against a refined and minimalist space, reminiscent of the white cube aesthetic, the images reveal the body’s architecture as it oscillates between control and abandon. Contorting, collapsing and rebounding, bodies flirt with loss of control while sculpting forms of breathtaking precision.
During this evening at the crossroads of art and fashion, we met the artistic directors of Études Studio, Aurélien Arbet and Jérémie Egry, alongside Andy Picci, Paul Samb, Bambounou, and many more.
