Kamel Mennour Gallery and Heroes for the Imagine Institute
At the dawn of FIAC, twelve art galleries took part in the second exhibition Heroes, which culminated in the charity auction held on Monday evening in Paris, at the invitation of the Parisian gallery owner Kamel Mennour.
For this second edition, Pierre Niney, Natalia Vodianova, Antoine Arnault, Mélanie Laurent, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Caroline de Hanovre and Catherine Deneuve were able to admire the works offered by the fine art galleries. Console signed Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec (Kreo Gallery), Brassaï silver prints (Dominique Lévy) or Oliafur Eliasson light installation (neugerriemschneider), the proposals were as eclectic as they were poetic.
4.5 million euros were thus raised on the occasion of this exceptional sale at Christie’s, which saw these prestigious and sometimes rival galleries join forces to benefit the Imagine Institute, the European centre for research and care on genetic diseases.
