Sarah Andelman opens Just A Space! during Paris Men’s Fashion Week
From January 20 to 22, Sarah Andelman opened the doors of Just A Space! a new Parisian pop-up during Men’s Fashion Week. The place was designed to highlight the new editions of Just An Idea Books, a project of her consulting agency Just An Idea. This second batch of coffee table books is composed of seven new books dedicated to seven creative talents: Brad Hall, Dude with Sign, Edward Bess, Matt McCormick, Nick Newbold, Pelle Cass and Sean Wotherspoon. In the center of the two-story pop-up, Sarah Andelman invited Harry Nuriev to create an immersive scenography to showcase the new book collection. Further on, Edward Bess presented an installation mixing his make-up collections and photographs of his friend Michèle Lamy, while the now famous Dude With Sign installed his corrosive humor signs in front of Gabrielle Noelle’s colorful seats. In the underground floor, American artist Matt McCormick presented about 40 of his drawings and in an adjacent room Brad Hall (known for his Instagram account @bradhall_shoes) revealed his offbeat universe through a video mixing sneaker reviews and humor. On the occasion of the pop-up opening, Sarah Andelman offered her guests a friendly breakfast as well as book signing with the artists. Among the guests: Rick Owens and Michèle Lamy, Emmanuel Perrotin, Alexandre de Betak or Tyler, The Creator.
