Juergen Teller and Dovile Drizyte build their future at Suzanne Tarasieve

The Suzanne Tarasieve gallery presents a new solo exhibition by Juergen Teller through December 4. The German photographer, who married his muse Dovile Drizyte this summer, presents ‘Auguri’ (‘congratulations’ in Italian) as both a celebration of his marriage and the introduction of a new chapter in his work. It results in the series ‘We Are Building our Future Together’, a photographic narrative for which the couple staged themselves on construction sites wearing fluorescent safety suits. The exhibition also highlights Juergen Teller’s work for the fashion industry, notably with his J.W. Anderson Spring-Summer 2022 campaign, a nod to the Pirelli calendar and a humorous comment on the stereotype of masculinity (Juergen went as far as to spoof Herb Ritts famous 1984 photograph ‘Fred with the tires’). On the occasion of the exhibition opeening, which was held during FIAC week in Paris, many personalities from the art world came to testify their friendship for the artist and the gallery owner. Among them, Haider Ackermann, Gaia Repossi, Bernard Blistène, Stéphane Ashpool, Sarah Andelman or the duo Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer.
