Jean-Paul Veison Marcelli Unveils an Exclusive Collection for Fischbacher 1819

Galerie Fischbacher, Paris

Swiss textile manufacturer Fischbacher has been designing high-end furniture fabrics, carpets, wallpapers and interior accessories for over 200 years. To mark Paris Design Week, the company is unveiling BENU®, a collection that reinvents the codes of luxury by offering a new take on materials, harmoniously blending aesthetics, responsibility and textile innovation. Designed by Jean-Paul Veison Marcelli, the collection blends the Swiss rigour of the century-old company with the Mediterranean sensibility of the French designer. The result of their shared vision encapsulates both the company’s rich heritage, a strong ecological conscience and the subtle poetry of textures.

To create the scenography, Jean-Paul Veison Marcelli drew inspiration from a simple yet deeply evocative image: a window opening onto the Mediterranean. This vision transports us instantly to a late summer atmosphere, bathed in a golden light and imbued with the patina of time. BENU® is an ode to timeless beauty and embodies Fischbacher’s firm ethical commitment.

A key element making this collection resolutely eco-responsible is the use of fabrics made from recycled materials. PET bottles, textile scraps from industry and marine plastic waste have all been transformed with the utmost care and refinement into exquisite textiles. Each thread and each texture tells a story of transformation and rebirth, giving BENU® a narrative and ethical dimension that goes far beyond mere aesthetics. This innovative approach demonstrates that luxury can go hand in hand with environmental awareness, without compromising on quality, sophistication and refinement.

At the launch evening, we crossed paths with Jean-Paul Veison Marcelli, Camilla Douraghy Fischbacher, Ellen Von Unwerth, Lucas Pinton, Vanessa Bellugeon, Michael Fischbacher, and many others.
