Jean-Paul Gaultier and the Drag Race France cast celebrate life at Sidaction’s Fashion Dinner

It’s one of our favorite traditions: closing the fashion week marathon with a dinner for the benefit of the Sidaction organization. Organized in partnership with the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la mode Fashion (FHCM), this gala evening ressembles all the fashion designers, who show in Paris, for the good cause. This time, 726,000 euros were raised for the fight against AIDS – after two Covid years this benefit will not go unnoticed, according to Prof. Françoise Barré-Sinoussi, 2008 Nobel Prize laureate in Medicine and President of Sidaction, Line Renaud, its vice-president, Florence Thune, its executive director and Pascal Morand, Executive President of the FHCM. In their speeches, projected on the walls of the Pavillon Cambon, they all insisted on the need to redouble the efforts to fight the AIDS virus. Highlights of the nights included a dinner, created by the starred chef Mory Sacko and the pastry chef François Daubinet, a fashion show-performance imagined by Jean Paul Gaultier with the cast of Drag Race France, and a raffle that allowed the high profile guests – such as Carla Bruni, Cindy Bruna, Bilal Hassani, Tracee Ellis Ross, Luka Sabbat, Rossy de Palma, Amanda Lear, Precious Lee and Raya Martigny – to win precious fashion, perfume and beauty items. The dinner was followed by an electric DJ set by Inès Mélia, who made Bastien Daguzan, Charles de Vilmorin, Eddy de Pretto and Victor Weinsanto dance until two o’clock in the morning… A look back at the most important fashion party of the year…
