Jean-Charles de Castelbajac Imbues Pierre Frey with His Creative Universe
This was THE collaboration kicking off Paris Design Week. Jean-Charles de Castelbajac gave free rein to his creativity and designed a visual language transcending shapes and materials to highlight Pierre Frey Mobilier’s new pieces. Sketched like a contemporary toile de Jouy, a series of objects and animals emerge from the painted walls and come to life in the form of unique pieces of furniture. Evoking the atmosphere of a museum, where silence suspends time and awakens our creative spirit, the space invites everyone to immerse themselves in contemplation and witness this unique dialogue at work between imagination and design. Among the guests who came to discover the collection by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and Pierre Frey were Olivia Putman, David Hervé-Boutin, Martin Pietri and many others.
