Jacques Cartier, A New Creative Studio by Willy Cartier
Less than two years ago, he presented his very first art exhibition in Paris. Today, Willy Cartier is fully unleashing an even bolder and more unbridled dimension of his vision with the launch of Jacques Cartier, a free creative studio Just like the artist’s own eclectic career, spanning modelling, theatre, dance and design, this new project is hybrid, resolutely cutting-edge and at the crossroads of the arts. To introduce this new endeavour, which takes his second name, Willy Cartier has enlisted Nicolas Theil. Together, they have designed a gender-neutral collection of around twenty fashion and accessory pieces that embody their shared vision.
To celebrate the official launch of Jacques Cartier, the artist hosted a special evening at the heart of the 11th arrondissement of Paris, where friends and key figures from the art and fashion industries were invited to discover this debut collection.
