Charles Zana Takes Over the Hôtel de la Marine With ITER

ITER, meaning “route” in Latin, is a reference to Charles Zana’s journey, as he both creates new pieces and brings a twist to already-existing artworks. With this theme in mind, the French interior architect and designer is presenting a major exhibition, displayed at the splendid Hôtel de la Marine during Art Basel Paris. The architect, who often evokes memory and déjà-vu in his work, brings a contemporary touch that sets him apart. This collection of furniture features his latest pieces and was made with the utmost respect for ancestral traditions. Visitors will be delighted to discover a variety of lighting fixtures, chairs and tables, as well as a sofa, a bar, a bookcase and a Teddy bed, embellished with embroidery by Lesage Intérieurs.

During the opening, we met Hubert Bonnet, Alexandre de Betak, Pierre Hardy and many more.
