The Giacometti Institute presents “Narrating the Body”
The Giacometti Institute debuted a new exhibition this week, one which examines representations of the female nude by the famed Swiss-born artist. “Narrating the Body” is curated by Catherine Grenier, who is also President of the Institute and Director of the Giacometti Foundation. The show—on view until November 7th—brought out art world regulars for its opening, such as Annette Messager (who herself did a carte blanche here last October), Christian Boltanski, gallery owner Frank Elbaz, director of the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard Colette Barbier, and architect Pascal Grasso.
