Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers reopens the Studio des Acacias by Mazarine, the mythical place of the greatest names in photography, as a new interdisciplinary creative space entirely dedicated to images. Conceived as an open space of work and meetings where artists, illustrators, photographers and multimedia collectives collide in their disciplines, the studio is a place of experimentation and production, a laboratory of creativity, a catalyst of ideas.
First guest in these storied places: Mark Handforth.
Between Pop Art and Minimalism, the artist invests the space from October 17 to 30 with his monumental works around the theme of light. Produced in collaboration with exhibition curator Timothée Chaillou and in partnership with the New York gallery Gavin Brown, “DROP SHADOW” comes just at the right time since it is part of the FIAC’s VIP course. Watch your eyes!
Until 30 October at 30, rue des Acacias, Paris XVIIe
