Inauguration of the Mouton Cadet Wine bar signed by Mathias Kiss
Mouton Cadet inaugurated last Thursday evening its panoramic terrace in Cannes. As every year, during the FIF, the roof of the Palais des Festivals will host press junkets and musical happenings, to bring together cinema professionals in this contemporary belvedere.
The artist Mathias Kiss has imagined this year a place with Hollywood villa air, between French Riviera and American West Coast, mixing Pierre Frey’s textiles with Burov armchairs, enhanced with suspensions signed DCW Editions. Among these prestigious publishers, Mathias Kiss has installed his compositions of mirrors which have made his fame, in games of reflections multiplying the view on the port and the Croisette. A haven of peace sheltered from the festive whirlwind that seizes the city during the fortnight.
Musical, the opening evening welcomed the singer Juliette Armanet and her piano, spotted in Hyères last month, as well as the violinist Laurent Korcia, to the delight of the guests and Baroness Camille Sereys de Rothschild. Great for the Croisette, on which it is very rare to find such an elegant proposal.
