Inauguration of the boutique Les Bains

Between shop and gallery, the new (and first) store des Bains has just been opened, right in front of its mother house at 2, rue du Bourg l’Abbé.

All you have to do is cross the pavement, from the Baths, to get a piece of the spirit of the resurrected hotel club. The selection of fashion, music, art and design – part of which was made in association with Thomas Erber – brings together the fine flower of French designers in a wide range of fields : Delphine Delafon’s it-bags, Parcthai’s jewels (rings), La Planche à Roulettes’ skateboards, Thierry Lasry’s sunnies, Emmanuelle de Noirmont’s art books, Belleville Brûlerie’s selection of coffees, Jérôme Pauchant’s gallery works… Note that the shop also offers original works of art by Benjamin Sabatier and Sambre.

To shelter this pile of beautiful things, the team of the Baths called upon the architects of Diplomates (to whom one notably Archimode at the Villa Noailles or the Dover Street Market of London). Result? An original work that gives pride of place to wood and construction, elaborated like an evolving model at the crossroads of architecture, design, visual arts and scenography. A beautiful aesthetic echo to the number opposite and its already cult bar-restaurant.
