The New Adult Cinema by DSquared2 Featuring Rocco Siffredi
Highly cinematic in spirit, DSquared2 introduced its Spring-Summer 2024 show with quite a captivating opening shot: a bedroom in Palm Beach, where Rocco Siffredi directs an X-rated film starring Julia Fox and her partner Yung Beef. The red lighting hovering over the actors enhances the sensual nature of the clip, a foreword that set the tone for the collection to be presented. Following the projection, models began their parade bringing sensuality and boldness to the catwalk. The collection balances out preppy with naughty details, a clever mix that results in golf-tennis hybridizations, colourful prints and exposed underwear. Sexy and unapologetic, the garments are filled with references revisited through the irreverent lens of the Italian duo. Attending the show at the luxurious villa, likewise bathed in reddish dim lighting, we caught a glimpse of Niels Kuesel, Francisco Faria, Chiara Capitani, Jacob Rott, Anna Dello Russo, Martin Carev and David Alexander Finn. On the catwalk, all eyes were on Julia Fox, wearing a white night outfit, and Esther Cañadas in a stunning black dress ornamented with a glittering lobster. To close the show on a high note, Rocco Siffredi took the stage to present his latest capsule collection, created in collaboration with the brand.
