Idir Davaine and Ketabi Projects présent “Sous le Saule”
From June 4 to 26, the young French painter Idir Davaine presents ‘Sous le Saule’, his first solo exhibition in Paris with Ketabi Projects – founded in 2020 by Charlotte Ketabi-Lebard. The gallery, which represents emerging French and international artists, just set up home at 22 Rue Visconti, a space shared with French artist Frank Perrin between exhibitions. Last January, Ketabi Projects opened its inaugural exhibition inviting Inès Longevial to present her latests works at the Grandes Serres de Pantin. For this second exhibition, the Idir Davaine’s big, colorful paintings inspired by nature find a new home within the walls of 22 Visconti in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Près. The exhibition’s opening as part of Paris Gallery Weekend brought together artists and friends to discover Davaine’s musings on nature and dreamlike pictural universe.
